FedEx Orange Bowl

Orange Bowl Tickets

The FedEx Orange Bowl is the 4th 'oldest'/longest-played college football bowl game in bowl history. Since its inception in 1935 it is also one of the most popular games. As far as age, the Orange Bowl is only topped by the Rose Bowl (the oldest with a 1902 inception), the Sun Bowl and the Sugar Bowl (1934). Every year in early January, just days before the BCS Championship game, tens of thousands of fans get together at LandShark Stadium (also called Orange Bowl Stadium at times) in Miami Gardens, FL to see their favorite teams go for a win with FedEx being its title sponsor since 1989. The bowl is also a member of the Bowl Championship Series.

Since 2007 the event has been the host to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) champion. However, there is an exception: If they are involved in the national championship game and have used the brand Home of the ACC Champion.

The 2010 Orange Bowl match-up will be between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the ACC Conference Champion, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. And Kool & The Gang will be the main part of the 2010 Orange Bowl halftime show. A day before the game you can already celebrate during the Orange Bowl Fan Fest at Bayfront Park in Miami, FL.

Land Shark Stadium (previously known as Joe Robbie Stadium, Pro Player Park, Pro Player Stadium and Dolphins Stadium, and better known as Dolphin Stadium) is BIG: It holds up to 75,000 spectators (depending on the sport played there). The stadium is used for football, baseball, soccer, as well as lacrosse and is located in Miami Gardens, Florida, a suburb of Miami. The stadium serves as host to the Miami Dolphins, the Florida Marlins, the Miami Hurricanes, and the annual Orange Bowl college football game.

Buy your Orange Bowl Ticket now before it is too late and be one of the tens of thousands enthusiastic fans in this beautiful stadium.
