List of College Bowl GamesBelow we show you the list of college bowl games for the last few seasons. Usually, the sequence of the game stays the same (or at least close to it) year-after-year. We will update this list on a regular basis - as soon as the match-ups are known. From the 1998 season until the 2005 season, four BCS bowl games determined the national champion on a rotating basis. The other three games consisted of the champions of the 6 major conferences not playing in the championship game, as well as two at-large teams. However, a change was implemented before the beginning of the 2006 season, which from now on allowed the creation of a 5th BCS bowl - the BCS National Championship Game. The BCS National Championship Game is played as a separate game one week after the regular BCS game. Check out the List of College Bowl Games for the current season and previous seasons below:
The 2011-12 College Football Bowl Game season starts in Albuquerque, N.M., and ends in New Orleans, LA. Here's a look at the schedule from the New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 17 to the BCS National Championship Game on Jan. 9.
2011 2012 BCS Bowl Game Schedule (All times Eastern)
This concludes the 2011/2012 List of College Bowl Games.
In addition to the list of College Bowl Games above we are also planning to add future proposed games as well as previous bowl games that were either replaced by a new sponsor or discontinued all together. We could have created an alphabetical list, but decided on the chronological order of event for the list of college bowl games above and hope that works better for you.
